Parents’ Evening

Parents’ Evening will be held next Wednesday, 7th February, from 3.30 to 7.00 pm.  If you have not already made an appointment and would like to do so, please contact the school office.

During Parents’ Evening, in the Junior Department, the Lancashire police will have a stall as part of Operation Safety Net.  There will be on-line safety information available and you can also bring in devices, such as tablets, for the parental controls to be checked.

Spanish Postcard

From next week, Senora Chellal will be posting a postcard home to a pupil who does something outstanding in Spanish.  This will be done on a weekly basis and the child’s name will appear on the school newsletter.

Pirate Phonics

The Council’s Family Learning team will be running a course of 4 workshops for Year 1 parents with fun activities based on phonics.  This will start on Thursday, 1st March, and run from 9.00 to 11.00 am each week.  Your child will join you for the second part of each session.  This is a free course and places are limited so please contact the Infant Office in person, or by calling 01253 763601 Option 3, to book your place.

School Dinners

As we ask for dinners to be booked one school week in advance, please book for week beginning 19th February, by this Sunday.  This is to ensure your child’s name appears on the dinner registers after the half term holiday.
