Please book all dinners for the first week in January by Sunday, 17th December, to allow meals to be booked with the kitchen.

Choir Concerts

Well done to all our Choir who have taken part in two Christmas concerts this week, one at Marton Church Fair and one at Trinity Hospice.  The Choir sang very well at both and everyone enjoyed their performances.

Elf Run

A big thank you to all the children for taking part in the Elf Run which was organised by 1P.  This was in aid of Brian House Children’s Hospice and so far £344.78 has been raised, with some money still to be added.

Holiday Football Club

A & J Coaching will be holding a football club for girls and boys aged 5 to 12 year at St Georges High School from 27th to 29th December and from 3rd to 5th January, from 10 am to 2 pm.  Sessions cost £20 per week.  Please contact Alan Williams on 07931 126729.

Grundy Art Gallery Event

Tomorrow there will be a free, family drop-in event at the Grundy Art Gallery in Blackpool.  Author Dan Worsley will be telling some of his Impossible Tales between 2 pm and 3.15 pm.  No booking necessary but children must be accompanied by an adult.

Reception Family Learning Workshop

There will be a free Family Learning course held in school on Tuesdays from 9.00 to 11.00 am.  This will start on 16th January and run for 5 weeks.  You will work together with your child on activities to help your child’s learning.  Places are limited so please contact the Infant Office on 763601, Option 3, to book.

Christmas Fair

Blackpool Carers Centre will be holding a Christmas Fair with Santa on Saturday, 16th December at Beaverbrooks House, 147 Newton Drive from 11 am until 2.30 pm.  Please click here for more details


We are still collecting used stamps for the Air Ambulance so please collect your Christmas and bring them into school.

There were 60 lates recorded this week.  It is very important that your child arrives at school in good time every day so that they do not miss out on any aspect of their education.  Lessons start promptly at 9.00 am and all doors open at 8.50 am.
