We are writing to introduce an exciting opportunity for you to be trained and upskilled in the ‘Bystander Project’.

Too many people are impacted by harassment and most are eager to be a part of the solution when it comes to addressing these issues.

The Bystander Project is a comprehensive violence prevention strategy that depends on the power of bystanders to prevent violence and shift social and cultural norms. It equips members of the community with the knowledge, skills, and confidence to identify, intervene and report power-based personal violence.

This informational training is provided online and is free of charge. You will see below a choice of three sessions. Please see attached document which contains instructions to register for your preferred session.

  • Tuesday 22nd March 3.00pm-4.30pm
  • Wednesday 23rd March 4.00pm-5.30pm
  • Thursday 24th March 6.00pm-7.30pm

Please join us on one of these informational sessions that aims to introduce the work we will be doing with Alteristic and why you have an integral part to play.  Learn about the key components of bystander intervention and begin to consider what your individual and unique role will be in creating a positive and healthy community where far fewer people experience harm.
