CBBC’s Saturday Mash-Up is a fun-filled Saturday morning live TV show for CBBC which features games, celebrity guests, live music, silly sketches and lots of slime! It’s a bit like current day version of Live & Kicking or SM:TV Live.

They have an exciting opportunity for our pupils to take part in this highly popular CBBC programme. They are currently in production of the fifth series of Saturday Mash Up and are looking for confident and lively children, between the ages of 9-12 to take part in some of the games during the show.

This is a great opportunity for the children to appear on a TV show from the comfort of their own home. There is no need for them to travel to the studio as they have lots of games and items in the show where they can appear via video link.

CHECKLIST:

You will need:

  • the completed application form (click here)
  • a photo of your child
  • a 30 second video of your child explaining why they want to be on the show

They can be as creative as they like with this short video. Please upload all 3 files to this link (you don’t need a dropbox account to do this).

They are looking for children to take part from now until late July and early applications are strongly encouraged!

They are also currently casting for one of the segments of the show called ‘Instagran’ where they’re looking to see the audience’s grandparents unusual or quirky talents and skills! Perhaps their Grandparents can tap dance / solve a Rubik’s cube, play an instrument or anything else that’s quite quirky!

Get in touch via this link and send in your videos! (Details on the attached flyer and application form)
