There were 74 lates recorded this week – doors open at 8.50 am and all children should be in class ready to start the school day at 9.00 am.

School Dinners

Please ensure that school dinners for the first week back in January (commencing 6th January) are booked and paid for by this weekend.

Reception Nativity

A huge well done to all the children involved in this year’s nativity and a huge thank you to all the adults who made it possible.

If you came to watch your child/ren, we hope you thoroughly enjoyed it!

Biscuit Decorating & Chocolate Tombola

Thank you for your kind donations of biscuits and chocolates. We are overwhelmed by your generosity.

Biscuit decorating and chocolate tombola is on Tuesday for Infants and Wednesday for Juniors. Each activity will cost 50p.

Christmas Parties

The children will be having Christmas parties throughout next week and are invited to wear non-uniform on their day. Please bear in mind that they will be wearing these clothes for the whole of the day and playing out so sensible clothing and shoes only! Please note, the usual jewellery rules still apply.

The parties will be held as follows:-

Monday 16th – Year 6

Tuesday 17th – Years 2 and 5

Wednesday 18th – Years 1 and 4

Thursday 19th – Reception and Year 3

Last Day of Term – Friday 20th December

For the last day of term the children are invited to wear a Christmas accessory to school with their uniform i.e. headband, hat, hair decoration, tinsel etc.  No donation required.

Christmas Concerts will also be held within the Junior hall on Friday 20th December, times as follows:-

9.15 am           Year 1 parents

11.00 am         Year 2 parents

1.15 pm           Years 3 and 4 parents

2.15 pm          Years 5 and 6 parents

Recent Break Ins

Some of you may be aware that we have recently been the victim of several break-ins during the night.  This has caused damage to the school premises and resulted in the loss of IT equipment.  We would appreciate if everybody could be vigilant around school and report any suspicious circumstances to the school or to the police out of school hours.

Christmas School Holiday

The school will close at 3:15 pm on Friday 20th December 2019 and re-open at 8:50 am on Monday 6th January 2020 ready for 9 am registration.
