We currently have a temporary position available for a Welfare Assistant to work from 11.50 am to 1.00 pm, Monday to Friday, term time only. Please contact the Infant Office for further details.
The children who have been learning flute, clarinet and keyboard in school, together with the Year 4 children who have been learning the recorder, will be putting on a concert for their parents on Tuesday, 24th May, at 2.30 pm in the Junior Hall. Further details will follow.
Bumped Head Texts
If your child bumps their head during the school day, we now send a text to inform you. We are doing this because it is a more reliable method of passing on the information than the paper ‘bump notes’, although your child will still bring home a ‘bump note’ which tells you what symptoms to look out for.
On Friday, 8th July, we will be holding a special history “Decades Day” to celebrate the Queen’s 90th Birthday. Each year group will be looking at a decade and children will be asked to dress up appropriately for their decade. More details on the day will follow nearer the time, but the decades for each year group are below:
1920’s Year 3 1930’s Reception
1940’s Year 4 1950’s Year 1
1960’s Year 2 1970’s Year 5
1980’s Year 6
If your child is wearing a dress to school, please ensure she still wears appropriate school shoes with it.
Please remember that dogs should not be brought onto school premises, except for registered guide dogs.
