There were 62 lates recorded this week which is an improvement on last week but could be better yet. Please ensure your child attends school on time every day. Congratulations to the following classes which had no late arrivals this week: 5C and 5B
Junior children may bring a mobile phone to school if you wish them to have it for the journey to and from school. However, these must be handed into the school office for the whole of the school day. For safeguarding reasons, any device, such as a smart watch, that can send messages or take photos must also be handed into the office. Normal watches and fitbit type watches can be worn but must be removed for PE and will be left in the classroom during this time.
All types of items mentioned above are brought into school at your own risk, and school will not accept any responsibility for any lost or damaged items.
We would like to thank everyone for their help and understanding with different entry procedures during the recent weather conditions. Hopefully the worst of the weather is passed but we will continue to send a text message if there are any more changes.
If your child cycles to school please ensure that they do so safely and wear a cycle helmet. Children have been observed near school this week cycling in a very unsafe manner, endangering their safety and that of others.
School will close for half-term on Friday, 15th February, 2019, at 3.15 pm and re-open on Monday, 25th February, 2019, at 8.50 am.
