There were 81 lates recorded last week.  Congratulations to 5B, the only class with no late arrivals last week.

Moving Up Afternoon

Letters will be sent out early next week informing you of your child’s class for next year.  Children will be having a ‘Moving Up’ afternoon next Thursday.

Year 6 Production

The Year 6 production will take place on Tuesday, 17th July, at 1.30 pm and 6.30 pm in the Junior Hall.  A raffle will be held at each performance.

Marton URC Community Space

The new Community Space at the church is now open and you are invited to look around on Sunday, 8th July, from 2 to 4 pm.  Light refreshments will be served.  The Community Space will be open for tea, coffee and juice at 9.00 am, Monday to Friday, and again at 2.30 pm, term-time only.  There will also be a Parent and Toddler Group.  They are looking for volunteers so please contact Ann on 698278 / 07804496531 or Janet on 695216.  A jumble sale will be held in the Church Hall on Wednesday, 22nd August at 6.30 pm and any donations will be welcome.  These can also be collected by calling the same contacts.

School Dinners

Dinners are now available to book for return to school in September.  Please make sure you book at least the first week back by Sunday, 15th July ie one school week in advance.  This is to ensure your child appears on the dinner register for the first week back.

Lancashire County Cricket

Congratulations to our cricket team who took part in the the Lancashire County finals this week.  It was a great achievement to get through to the final and the team enjoyed their day out.

Summer Holidays

School will close for the summer holidays on Friday, 20th July, at 3.15 pm and re-open on Monday, 3rd September, at 8.50 am.
