Book Week
Next week is Book Week and we will be “Stepping into Another World”. On Friday, 15th March, children can come to school dressed as a book character, preferably as a fantasy or historical character to fit in with the theme for the week. Please note this is not in aid of any charity and there will be no collection made on the day.
The children will experience a performance from a theatre company next week as part of Book Week. A big thank you to all the parents who have contributed towards this. However, we would still welcome donations through the Parent Pay system if you have not yet done so.
School Dinner Costs
From Tuesday, 23rd April, 2019, the cost of school dinners will increase to £2.30 per day. All bookings and payments should still be made one school week in advance on the Parent Pay system. All Infant Children will continue to receive a free school meal under the Universal Free School Meal Scheme.
Parents’ Evening
Thank you to all the parents who attended Parents’ Evening yesterday. Our apologies for the classes that had to be postponed. These will be re-arranged as soon as possible and you will be informed of the date.
Welfare Assistant Vacancy
We currently have a vacancy for a Welfare Assistant to work lunch time, 11.50 am to 1.00 pm, Monday to Friday. Please contact the Infant Office for further details and an application form.
