Book week will take place during the week beginning 19th March, with the following events:
Wednesday, 21st March – We will be holding Book Swops during lunchtime where children can swap a book they have read for one they haven’t. Please make sure the book brought in is suitable for a child of school age and that there are no missing or damaged pages. Bring your book to your teacher from Monday, 19th March to get a token to “buy” a book during the Book Swops.
Thursday, 22nd March – INFANT children are invited to dress up as a book character
Friday, 23rd March – JUNIOR children are invited to dress up as a book character (note: change of date)
Friday, 23rd March – Hobgoblin Theatre Company will perform ‘Little Red Hen’ for KS1 children in the morning and ‘Robin Hood’ for KS2 children in the afternoon. We are asking for a donation of £2 towards this event, which can now be paid on Parent Pay or with a letter obtained from the office. Please note that this event may be cancelled if not enough voluntary contributions are received.
