Yr 3 Maths

Class: Year 3 Year: 2024 - 2025

Recently in maths, we have been learning to multiply and divide 2 digit numbers. We have been using a variety of methods to help us become more fluent with this skill. We began grouping and sharing using place value counters before moving onto our pictorial method of drawing a whole part diagram to partition numbers before calculating the in smaller chunks. We are now becoming more confident with this skill and are beginning to apply it to different areas of our maths learning.
