Welcome to Year 2

In Year 2, we build upon the foundation blocks of knowledge and skills the children have acquired in Reception and Year 1. Not only do we aim to increase your child's academic knowledge, but also develop their personal and social skills so they become well-rounded citizens of our school community and feel happy and safe in their learning environment. We try to build pupils' resiliance as they mature and teach them to take ownership and responsibility for themselves, their choices and their actions. There will be many exciting opportunties this year to invite our parents and carers into school to get involved with their children's learning so watch this space for dates and information regarding these.
